This is a piece I made for my friend’s grandmother in 2012. The brief was simple – it had to be lightweight and each of the small gemstones has a significance so pearls for great-grandchildren, sodalite for children and so on. The eagle is to represent Mexico which is where she lives and I sent it off via Canada to get to her grandma on time.
This is a knitted tiara I made for a stunning bride who got married in September 2013. It was an immense pleasure to share in her day a tiny bit as I got to see her dress and design a tiara to match what she was wearing.
These are a set of coordinated necklaces and a bracelet for a lovely bride and her bridesmaids I made in September 2014. It was a rather lovely wedding 🙂
I absolutely love making commissions and this a very special commission that I have made for a lady who came to the Artist’s Open Houses.
It is for three little girls – three grand-daughters for their Christmas present. I think you’ll agree they are very lucky little girls indeed. Granny wanted three similar tiaras with the linked theme of tiny seed pearls along the band.
This one is gold-plated wire with Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls – £45
The second is also gold-plated wire with Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls – £45
Lastly this is silver-plated wire with Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls – £35.
I’ve just put all the tiaras in their boxes lined with white tissue, ready for three surprised little girls on Christmas Day.
I think our mascot, Tamyra, approves!
